[Amerika Serikat] “Justice”, Menjadi Kata Terpilih Merriam Webster Pada 2018

Kamus Merriam-Webster memilih kata “justie” sebagai kata terpilih pada 2018 atau istilah kerennya adalah dictionary’s word of the year. Kata itu menjadi paling popular dalam pencarian sepanjang 2018, dengan pemasukan kata itu meningkat menjadi 74 % lebih banyak daripada 2017,  sebagaimana dikabarkan abajournal.com.

Menurut Merriam-Webster kata itu mempunyai banyak definisi dan menjadi pusat perhatian pada 2018. Merriam-Webster juga mencatat bahwa korelasi sederhana terjadi antara US Department of Justie dengan kata “justice”. Hal ini menyangkut juga tentang investigasi penasihat khusus Robert Mueller menjadi kabar berita pada 2018 dan juga tentang nominasi Brett Kavanaugh menjad Supreme Court Justice pada 2018, dan kabar tentang dirinya menjadi berita besar.
